How does Hire My Space work?
Hire My Space is a marketplace where advertisers pay creators to post a short message on their X profile for exactly 24 hours. Advertisers choose a niche, a follower range, and a creator count, write a short title and message, and place a bid. The platform matches the campaign to creators who fit the chosen niche and follower range, and the post goes live the moment payment is confirmed. While live, the campaign appears on the public leaderboard ranked by its bid amount, and visitors can watch in real time as money flows into the marketplace.
How is rank determined?
Rank is pure spend. The more you bid, the higher you rank. There are no algorithms, no engagement multipliers, and no editorial picks affecting position, only the bid amount. If someone outbids you, your rank drops; if you raise your bid through the outbid button, your rank rises immediately.
How long does a post last?
Exactly 24 hours from the time your payment is confirmed. The post is applied the moment Dodo Payments sends us the webhook confirming your charge, and it is automatically removed exactly 24 hours later. There is no way to extend a campaign past 24 hours; a new campaign must be created instead.
How do I pay?
We use Dodo Payments (test mode for now). You'll be redirected to a secure checkout page hosted by Dodo, where you enter your card details; we never see or store your card number. Once Dodo confirms the payment, we apply the post and your campaign goes live within seconds.
Can I get a refund?
Bids are non-refundable once your campaign goes live. If your campaign hasn't gone live yet (for example, because payment was initiated but the webhook has not yet been received), contact support and we can cancel the campaign and refund the full amount. If a live campaign is taken down because it violates our policies, it is removed from the leaderboard and no refund is given, even if the takedown happens partway through the campaign.
How do creators get paid?
Creators set their own price per post and are paid that price, less the creator fee, once their post (and any pin, bio line, banner or picture the campaign asked for) is confirmed and the campaign ends with it still up. The advertiser's amount for posting pays creators; the listing fee only decides leaderboard rank. Payouts go through Dodo Payments once your balance passes the minimum shown on your dashboard.
What content is prohibited?
Illegal, misleading, hateful, or spam content. See our Terms of Service for details. We reserve the right to take down any campaign, mid-flight if necessary, that violates these rules, and we may suspend the responsible advertiser's account. When in doubt, email support before placing a bid to confirm your content is allowed.
Can I outbid someone?
Yes! Use the Outbid button on any leaderboard row to raise your bid and take their rank. The outbid amount is non-refundable once it takes effect, because it immediately re-ranks the campaign and may displace other advertisers. The leaderboard updates in real time, so the entire market sees your new rank within seconds.
How do I toggle dark/light mode?
Click the sun/moon icon in the top-right corner of any page. The toggle uses next-themes, which stores your preference in local storage (not a cookie) and applies it before the page renders to avoid a flash. Choose 'system' if you want the theme to follow your OS setting, or pick 'light' or 'dark' explicitly to override it.
